Over the years, our portfolio has grown to include both residential and commercial projects. In a way, show suites are a mix of both types of projects; we conceptualise the interior design with the goals of the condominium developer in mind while having the clarity that these show suites are homes for real people. At Designworx, we don’t just design to impress. As interior designers, we imagine people living there, juxtaposing comfort with luxurious touches so that every element is functional and beautiful. With this philosophy, our interior design work has played a part in in-situ penthouse show suites being sold to homeowners.
This spacious 4,000 sq ft penthouse is privy to stunning city views of Singapore. In addition to being embellished with Eastern motifs and elements, it is designed with spaces to showcase art pieces. We also introduced designer furnishings such as the B&B Italia Eucalipto console table and lantern-like Ariana suspension lamps from Hamilton Conte. This project won the Best Penthouse Project Singapore in Tatler Design Awards 2020.
Loosely inspired by the chef’s table experience, this award-winning penthouse offers a visual taste of something different in each room. Pastel blue accents imbue softness into the comforting neutrals that contrast against the dark walls. We also aimed to craft a luxurious ambience with touches of gold while maintaining a sense of cosiness. This 3300 sq ft project is an Asia Pacific Property Award 2018 Best interior Design Apartment Singapore award winner.
At Designworx, we are familiar with designing large, high-end interiors. This 6200 sq ft three-storey penthouse is a rare gem in Singapore’s property scene. We combined modern design with oriental design elements for an upscale ambience. To achieve our goal of personalising this space, we customised timber screen frames, an artisan-crafted golden bonsai, and hand-painted crane motifs to complement the grey, black and taupe palette. This project was awarded the Best Penthouse Project Singapore in Tatler Design Awards 2019.
The Shore Residence show suite is another project we enjoyed designing. For this 2900 sq ft project, we combined a warm ambience with playful patterns and design elements. The feature wall was designed with irregular-shaped panels in white as a versatile design feature and focal point that enhances the double volume living area. As part of space planning, a divider in the large bedroom was incorporated to make the best use of space.
