Trained in architecture and flew as cabin crew with Singapore Airlines, then marketed Italian luxury furniture brands in Singapore before founding Designworx Interior Consultant. That's the journey our design director, Terri Tan, took.

Terri's journey shows how each experience enrich us. In this interview with Tatler Homes Singapore, she reflected on how these experiences paved the way for her to found one of Singapore’s most established interior design studios. She reflected on the skills that help ensure client satisfaction. As Terri shared in the interview, "We have many repeat clients because we 'get' them." 

Designworx began 28 years ago. Since then, we have grown into an award-winning interior design studio for luxury residences and hotels in Singapore. We have won awards along the way, but more than that, we have loved journeying with our clients as they move forward and expand in life. As specialists in luxury interior design for landed homes in Singapore, we create warm, timeless residential designs that balance functionality with aesthetics. Our residential and commercial interior design portfolio consists of Good Class Bungalows, condominiums, penthouses, show suites, offices, and hotels.

When we design homes, our approach is to create timeless interiors that do not look dated even after 10 to 20 years. Ours is a client-centred interior design process: we listen closely to what you really want and continue refining our approach to achieve that. It is a joy to grow with our clients as they move through the stages of their lives. Life is meant to be lived well, and we treasure the part we play in crafting bespoke homes that make that possible.
