As remote work becomes more common, the line between office and home interiors continues to blur. Designworx Interior Consultant embraces this trend by creating office spaces that feel inviting and residential while maintaining a professional atmosphere.

According to Terri Tan, design director at Designworx, clients increasingly seek workspaces that combine comfort with functionality. One of the firm’s standout projects involved transforming a 1,000-square-foot open-concept office into a luxurious, home-like environment. Starting from a blank canvas, the team removed all partitions and carpeting, reimagining the space from the ground up.

The entrance foyer sets a welcoming tone with a dark-wood divider featuring display shelves, storage units, and elegant glass wall sconces. The main meeting space resembles a high-end living room, complete with premium furnishings from Muuto and Gamma Arredamenti. The Muuto Outline leather sofa and Gamma Arredamenti Cocoon swivel armchair provide both comfort and style, while a Gan Ply rug enhances the textured, neutral colour palette.

To elevate the ambience, Designworx incorporates custom lighting, maintaining a balance between sophistication and warmth. Thoughtful touches like a kitchenette with a fridge and wine chiller make the space ideal for informal meetings and client interactions. A TV mounted on a sleek divider discreetly separates the powder room, preserving the open flow while adding a functional element.

By blending residential aesthetics with practical office elements, Designworx Interior Consultant creates spaces that encourage relaxation, collaboration, and meaningful connections, reflecting a perfect synergy between home and office design.
